CONGESTION RECOVERY SURCHARGE

Dear Valued Customer

In order to recover some of the costs incurred by MSC as a result of the ongoing industrial action in South Africa ports MSC will be
implementing a Congestion Recovery Surcharge of USD 100 per Teu, for dry and reefer cargo and will be for the account of the freight payer.

This surcharge will be implemented on all cargo loaded and discharged in South African Ports. Transshipment cargo will not be affected.

For export cargo the surcharge will be introduced on all cargo that has been stacked by 00h01 on 21st May 2010.

A notice to follow with the date of implementation for import cargo.

We will advise further on the expected duration of the surcharge.
